A sneak excerpt and some stills from my new work. This was shot in HD with the camera 1cm from my eye. The four video panes each show a short clip of my eye. There is a blink at the start. Each blink is sequenced using a generative technique while simultaniously creating synchronised musical events. A high resolution ten minute version is available on request.
This will be the first in a series of works that play tricks with time, language and music. Where as this piece is musically based others I have been experimenting with are dialogue or event driven.
Making this will always stick in my memory as it is the first cinema quality work I have done and was finished on the day Bergman died.
Turn up your sound system and be afraid.

NEW. Just experimenting with some HD video. Went to the park and made this. Hope to do some real-time tweaking on this soon. Note if you stare into the middle of this for a few minutes and then stop the video you get a strange optical effect. No really try it. At first I thought my computer was malfunctioning, it was just my brain! This is LOW res.
